FAQs

An understandable question! Basically, our answer relates to harsh economic factors – and timing. When this book was completed in late 2020, having investigated the various print options in detail, we concluded that we were not in a position to commission a print copy, owing to projections of quite horrendously high production costs and technical challenges in producing an A4 sized book comprising 1400+ pages. Additionally, and something which we are truly concerned about, it was apparent that the costs of sending copies overseas would have put it firmly out of reach of many fans.

Beset with these and other logistical issues – and anxious not to see our six years’ worth of work squandered – we were left with the stark choice of abandoning the project entirely or opting for a digital version. We chose the latter. And while many people applauded that decision and told us how much they liked the digital version – not least because of its price – others though lamented the lack of a print copy.

Happily, several years on, we are able to present the book in print as we originally hoped and intended – though, owing to its length, only as a three-volume, soft-backed print set, in which the page numbers run on from one volume to the next.

Technically, while the page size of the digital version had to be amended slightly to accommodate its transition to paperback, resulting in some minor layout changes and new title pages, crucially, the contents of the book are exactly as they were in the digital version.

Nothing has been omitted.

Equally, other than new cover images (one for each volume), a few new photographs and a brief explanation of why it is now available in print, nothing has been added.

In fact, the only changes you may notice are in its general presentation which, we believe, has been improved in terms of its design
and layout.

In response to requests from fellow collectors, we are now delighted to announce the release of a soft-backed print version of this former digital download flip book (first published in early 2021 as Elvis UK3) which will be published in instalments as a 3-volume set over a period of several months, starting with Volume 1 in December 2024.

We will add each volume to our store when they are available, so do check back over the coming weeks for the remaining volumes.

Priced at £50 (which includes p&p costs in the UK) this book can only be ordered from elvisukbooks.co.uk

Overseas customers will be advised at checkout what the additional p&p costs are.
